By day, I work as the visual information lead for NASA's Chandra X-Ray Observatory. I help to tell stories about science, educating the public about our universe.

By night, I wrestle with gouache (and colored pencils and pastels and collage), creating paintings about small moments and big emotions. When I’m not thinking about color, I’m hiking with my dogs, reading books about trees, and dreaming about swimming in the ocean.

< These are not my dogs! But they took excellent care of me during a dog-sledding trip.
